Description of specialisation
A first internal medicine visit is advisable when we decide to welcome an animal into our home. The visit will assess the following aspects: health condition, diet, vaccinations and the presence of any parasites. The medical history offered by the owner and guided by the doctors’ targeted questions are essential to put together a clear clinical picture of your animal. Clinical visits are often accompanied by more specialist diagnostic examinations ( x-rays, ultrasounds, blood tests). Nothing is done until the owner is informed of the best way of reaching a correct diagnosis.
